Walking?

Myles has always had strong legs, so we thought we would see how well he could stand. With a little help from the computer chair, he supported himself...for about 3 seconds. That's Daddy's hands in the background ready to grab him when he started to lean. We know one thing for sure...as soon as he can walk - he'll be running.

As you may notice, his Peanut shirt is showing definite signs of Myles' teething. He likes to gnaw on almost anything - including our fingers.

Myles & Mason

Myles met his 1st cousin Mason for the first time when we had to evacuate for Hurricane Ike. Myles enjoyed hanging out with Mason, and we took some great photos - like this one of Myles examining Mason's foot.

Naps!

Myles and Kira take a nap on the couch. Myles laughs and smiles at the dogs all the time, and they don't mind when he grabs their hair.

Myles 1st Driving Lesson

Leah gave Myles his first driving lesson today.  He totally enjoyed it, especially the turns.

Birthday Boys

We tried to take a picture with Myles for Matt's birthday, but we had a hard time getting him to look at the camera. Maybe he'll follow Dad's footsteps and his first word will be "Cookie!!"

Bouncer Boy

Myles is getting big enough to use his bouncer, and he likes it a lot. His smile is an amazing thing..."Myles' Smile" is the greatest thing Laura and I have ever seen.

Bath Time

Myles loves his baths, but we're not sure about afterwards. At least he looks funny in his elephant towel.

DuBrul Pool Party

Myles attended his first pool party, hosted by Bill and April DuBrul. Myles was a big hit at the annual festival, looking cool in his shades and taking a dip in the water with mom. A short time later, still in the pool, he fell asleep.

King Myles and his court

Myles tries out his Bumbo for the first time, and he looks like a king on his throne. Laura always says that Sasha is a princess, so I guess that makes Kira the court jester.

Aunt Marci & Uncle Mike

Mike & Marci got their first chance to hold Myles and we got a great photo. I think Mike is trying to teach Myles his secret Hawaiian handshake.

4th of July

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa for the July 4th Holiday. They got to see Myles for the first time since he was born. Also, Anita, Wendy, Zach, Harold, Tammy and her girls all came to visit as well. Myles loved it outside on the swing, and the weather was great. Inside, Myles favorite spot was in the rocking chair - I think it was Grandma's favorite spot as well

Myles 1st trip to the office

Myles visited Dad's office on June 11th. He was a big hit as 40+ people came by to say hello. One coworker said, "I know my son was that little once, but I don't think he was that adorable."

Our Little Thinker

Myles was born with his right hand near the side of his face. In most of our pictures, he has his hand up in this pose. We think he's contemplating whether or not he wants to held or to be fed.

Myles was born on May 13th @ 4:39 pm at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston Tx. He weighed 8 lb 15 oz and was 20 in long.
